Need to catch up.

Well here is another post, I have been informed that I need to post again because my wife is tired of seeing my Anniversary post. This weekend was kinda slow due to weather I could not practice my soccer team then they cancelled our game on Saturday too, also we could not practice our softball team either so we are off to a slowwwwwww start this season. But on the brighter side I had a wonderful date Saturday night with a very Special and Beautiful girl my daughter Emma. (pictured above is Emma and I, then Emma and Mallie aren't they Beautiful)
It was the second annual Cinderella ball father / daughter dance and we had a blast!!!. Emma, my niece Mallie, and some of their friends Alexandra, Eliza, Jenna Reece and Alleia (probably miss spelled all their names spell check can't save my here) and all the dads loaded up in a Limo supplied by our host Captured Forever Photography and off to the Ball we went. We had some dinner then danced all night to the music of Hanna Montana, Taylor Swift, The Chicken Dance song, YMCA, Hokey Poky and others. Then a very Special guest arrived for all the girls it was Cinderella and the girls went WILD!!, Cinderella looked a lot different from last year by about 20yrs so some of the dads were happy too. Cinderella led us in the Conga Line, Limbo Line and the Chicken Dance, took pictures with every girl and gave them a pink rose. A wonderful time was had by all and I look forward to next year, this is a Special thing that I can do with Emma that doesn't involve the boys and sports also it gives us some much needed time together.

Its my Anniversary!!!!!

Well today is my Wedding Anniversary!! WOW what a trip it has been, I made my wife mad the other day she asked jokingly did you ever think we would have been married this long, and I said NOT jokingly I never thought we would make it thru the first year. I wasn't trying to upset her I was just being honest for real I never thought I could find a woman who could put up with me for that long but she did and still is WOW! what a woman. We do not have any plans, we normally don't make too much of a fuss about it, it seems like every time we start making plans to acknowledge another year together something goes wrong. A kid will get sick, I will be out of town, someone goes to the Hospital or we have a fight you know the usual stuff. So we have been really low key in our Celebrations in fact we have really only celebrated one Anniversary, last year we went to New York and what a trip that was we had a wonderful time (would Love to go again)... This picture was taken at someone else's wedding about a year and a half after we were married, I like this picture because to me this is when we really started our journey together. Yes we look Happy in this picture but I can tell ya we were in trouble. A lot of things changed after that weekend and I don't regret it a bit (I cant speak for her). Its kinda funny the things you can discover about YOU when you find yourself left sitting drunk under an overpass on I 40. My life took a full transformation that weekend that has been pretty amazing and I owe it all to God, my Wife and my Family. My Wife is the reason I am's where I am's today (Popeye joke), she stayed with me, stood beside me, gave me kids and helped me become a Better Father, Husband, Christian and Man. So to my Wife I LOVE YOU & THANK YOU!!!! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY.

Eli Scores and scores BIG!! but not in Soccer.

Well it Happened my oldest son Eli (who just turned 13) went on his first lunch date yesterday. Eli has been admiring a certain young girl for many years now they are in the same grade, have been friends in school and she attends Church with us too but that friendship has been GROWING into more lately. Eli has been worried that if he pursued this girl she might reject him and then things would be awkward and ruin their friendship, so he has kept his feeling to him self but is is very obvious on both parties where they stand. So after Church while standing in the foyer it happens Eli is asked to go to lunch with her. Here is where the Score comes in she did not ask him to go her dad did and that's HUGE. Father approval rating is BIG as all men know and he wanted Eli to go with them, so he did they bought his lunch and Eli left the tip. Talk about excited he could hardly contain him self, he had a Great time and was pumped all night long. She is a very sweet girl and has wonderful family and they think a lot of Eli. Of course they are young and no one can predict the future but you never can tell what will happen. I am very proud of my son that he has conducted him self in a manner that a father has noticed and asked him to go to lunch with his family that to me is very impressive. Great job Eli I am Proud of you and all that you do.

Well here I GO!!

Why am I doing this?? still not really sure never thought I would ever Blog. My wife Blogs I read hers and learn a lot about whats going on in her head and with our family that I don't know about and I live with them so that helps. Also, I have some other family who Blogs that I follow and enjoy reading whats going on in their lives since we don't get to see each other that much it's nice to be able to keep up. So I guess I have succumbed to the trend (all the cools kids are doing it) and started a Blog. What does Blog stand for anyhow? Guess I will have to research that one and report later. Well I don't know how long this Blog will last, how much or how often I will even post or where it will go when I do post but I have started so that's an accomplishment in its self.
